The Opportunity

Lotus People are delighted to be working with this leading professional association to recruit a Membership Services Officer. With head a head office in Sydney and offices throughout Australia, this is an opportunity to join their lovely Tuggerah-based branch. This role will see you providing exceptional customer service and account management to valued members.

The Role

This role will see you playing a crucial role in supporting the lifeblood of this business, their members. You will be building relationships with new and existing members by providing members with information, support, advice and information on products and services. This role will see you reaching out to existing members to ensure they are getting the most out of their membership and will require somebody who is comfortable providing customer service over the phone. This is an opportunity to get to know local businesses and help them overcome challenges.


Regular contact and engagement with all members
Develop and maintain current and in-depth knowledge of all products
Identify leads and pass them onto the sales team
Educate members on relevant industry information
Take feedback from members and feeding it through to relevant channels where appropriate; The Ideal Candidate
This role will suit an intelligent, motivated customer service professional with the ability to strategically engage with a customer base, driving customer satisfaction and customer retention. You will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a positive, “can do” attitude. To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:

Experience within a customer service-driven role;
Experience in a phone-based role that involved handling outbound and inbound calls;
Exceptional communication skills and a dynamic, engaging phone manner;
A continuous improvement attitude with the ability to suggest improvements to processes and systems;
Experience working within a CRM-driven environment with strong data entry and records management skills
