Your role

The PKF Central Coast Business Advisory Services team is looking for an intermediate to senior Accountant who can hit the ground running and become an integral part of one of our busiest teams. As a part of this high performing team, you will:

  • Prepare Tax Returns/BAS/Financial Statements and regular compliance work
  • Preparation of management reports
  • Coordinate and conduct research and assist with advice
  • Assist with Self-managed Superannuation Fund Administration
  • Assist with taxation planning
  • Work within a team environment
  • Liaise with clients as required

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will thrive in a busy environment, love problem solving and have a flair for organisation. You will have a friendly and efficient demeanour and your communication skills will be top notch.

  • Degree qualified, or currently studying towards the completion of your degree.
  • Minimum two years’ professional accounting public practice experience, that has given you a fundamental understanding of Accounting and taxation concepts, and a willingness to develop this knowledge
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingness to develop your practical skills, and technical knowledge
  • Experience in the use of various Accounting Software (such as XERO / MYOB/QuickBooks online/ Saige Handisoft / BGL 360)
  • Microsoft Office Suite
