Job Description

Central Coast Local Health District require a “Administration Support Officer – Respiratory Medicine” in Gosford NSW:

The position of Administration Officer for the Sleep Investigation Unit exists within the Central Coast Local Health District. This is a permanent full-time position within the Division of Medicine at Gosford Hospital and primarily provides administrative support to the Department of Respiratory Medicine including the Sleep Investigation and Respiratory Investigation Units.

With a rapidly growing population we offer a comprehensive range of services from acute care at Gosford and Wyong hospitals to sub-acute and community based services. Selection Criteria
Extensive experience in the provision of administrative support.

Proven effective interpersonal and communication skills, in particular excellent telephone and public relation skills.

Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and to exercise independent judgement, discretion and initiative.

Experience with dictaphone typing

Demonstrated effective time management and priority-setting skills.

High level computer skills, especially word processing, spread sheets, data bases and email, with typing speed 50wpm.

Demonstrated commitment to Caring for the Coast vision, goals and strategies, with demonstrated behaviours which align with the NSW Health CORE values and CCLHD Values and behaviours charter.
