Central Coast Group Training is the Coast’s leading employer of Apprentices and Trainees and has been in operation for over 35 years.

Our Host Employer is a local quality butcher shop selling; quality meat, ready made meals, sausages and pies. They have been in operation for 4 years and pride themselves on being the best sausage makers in the Central Coast after winning the 2015 Australian Meat Industry Council Sausage award for best beef, lamb and gourmet sausages. They have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice to join their team and learn from the best.

The duties within this role include but are not limited to:-

• Deliveries
• Sausage making
• Cooking of ready made meals
• Cash handling and banking
• Customer service
• Preparation and cutting of meat products

As the successful candidate you will be determined, have experience in a fast paced environment and have an interest in cooking.

The hours of this role will be 38 hours per week between the hours of 6:00am – 6:30pm, with Tuesday off.

As part of this Apprenticeship you will be PAID to study Certificate III Meat Processing (Retail Butcher) through On the Job training over a 48 month period.
