We have a large and close Client base, that we work with closely as part of their design team, delivering truly exciting and varied projects. We also see things differently to the typically historical perception of the “specification”. We offer a broad and integrated approach, which looks at procurement, how best to protect the Architect, research of materials, development of schedules and making the most of our advanced online systems. We are an independent company with an impressive heritage spanning back to Schumann Smith in the UK 30+ years ago. We currently have a team of 15+ professionals, linked together with a common cause to improve the industry.

Position Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Specification Consultant in Avoca Beach, Central Coast – NSW. This position is about understanding and delivering architectural specifications. The successful candidate will form an integral part of our operation, and will be committed to the research, production and delivery of specifications for the Company’s Clients, including renowned signature Architects and large benchmark projects in Australia and around the world. You will be managing your own projects and Clients with the assistance of the broader team. We offer a flexible working environment, with a central office and work from home options are available.
Annual Salary: $80,000 (including Superannuation)

To be considered for the position, you will be expected to have:

  • a minimum 5 years of architectural; project management; cost consulting or similar construction industry background, with experience in specification production an obvious advantage.
  • a strong work ethic with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • the ability to maintain and build on existing Client relationships.
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • an understanding of various construction processes and documentation detailing.
  • a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems.
  • proficiency in PC applications including MS Excel and MS Word.
