About the project
This large enterprise believes that without taking risk they are unable to grow. Experiencing significant growth and change over the past few years with a more globally dispersed geographic footprint, they are upgrading their Risk Management platform to improve and modernise their governance, risk and compliance. This role is based in Newcastle with potential travel to Sydney.

The role
Working with SME’s, senior stakeholders, software vendors, and end-users, this contract position will lead the implementation of a new integrated risk management (IRM) to ensure successful execution.

A continuous improvement mindset is required to work with key business stakeholders to define high-level business needs and analyse opportunities to enhance business processes and enrich the customer experience.

You will respectively challenge inefficiencies in process and workflow to establish a strong foundation from which to scale up and build future use cases and ensure that all technical specifications are aligned to ‘future-proof’ the system from bugs and inefficiencies.

Your experience
Demonstrated experience delivering similar projects, ideally with Compliance Management Software or Independent Risk Management systems
Have strong writing and documentation skills with experience capturing, documenting and implementing business requirements
Excellent facilitation skills and experience conducting stakeholder workshops
Experience achieving improvements to business processes by analysis and design, therefore gaining the support and buy-in from business stakeholders
Ability to define critical business workflows in the design and development of visual models and work-flow diagrams
Proficiency in IT systems and navigating back-end functionality
Experience working with software vendors and the ability to develop effective working relationships with internal and external partners.
Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to formulate concepts
The ability to influence and negotiate with clear verbal and written communication, skills
Organised and proactive self-starter with strong initiative and sense of ownership and responsibility
Experience working within open and highly collaborative agile environments
