The Company:
ET Australia is an established Registered Training Organisation located on the Central Coast in NSW. We are currently seeking a Business Development Representative to join our busy Training College team. This position will be based in our Gosford office and will cover the Central Coast region.
ET Australia has a well established reputation for providing training with a pathway to employment including job seeker programs, employment programs and programs to upskill existing workers.

The Role:
ET Australia is looking for a self-starter who has emotional intelligence, someone who is curious, dynamic, engaging, enthusiastic and highly motivated. You will develop opportunities and promote ET Australia’s products and services which will be achieved through effective relationship management. You will be responsible for building ET Australia’s Training College market position and achieving financial growth with a particular focus on traineeships. There will be a focus on contact with external relationships and networks to achieve ET Australia’s Training College sales and revenue goals.
You will have a high level of interpersonal, negotiation and problem solving skills with experience in promoting and marketing training solutions through a consultative process including the ability to identify new business. Ideally you will be passionate about the education industry and what it transfers to in the community which will drive your success in this role.

Essential:

  • A proven track record in Business Development working across a diverse range of products and services
  • A proven ability to explore opportunities and provide solutions to local businesses and members of the community
  • A proven ability to initiate and manage relationships, and adapt sales skills approaches and written documents to target clients
  • A skilled networker who has proven experience to effectively engage potential clients and industry partners
  • The confidence to represent ET Australia at business functions, awards nights, networking events etc and be available outside of normal business hours if required
  • A high level of professionalism and approachability at all times
  • A driver’s licence and reliable comprehensively insured vehicle available for business use
  • A Working with Children Check (or the ability to get one)

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in education products and an understanding of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector
  • Experience working with an existing network of contacts and relationships across the Central Coast NSW relevant to the VET sector

What’s on offer?
A full time permanent position with a start date in late January 2018 (although there is flexibility for the role to be part time for the right person).
