Korean Chef

New Korean restaurant in Gosford

We are looking for a full time chef with substantial experience of Korean cuisines.

Basic Requirement

Must speak good Korean;
Experience in Korean fine dining for minimum 3 years;
Supervise and organize our full commercial kitchen operation;
Able to work under pressure;
Able to work as a team
Excellent
Must be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident visa holder.

Daily Duties

Manages all day-to-day operations of the kitchen.
Develop, design, or create new ideas and items for seasonal/daily special menu.
Ensure excellent quality throughout the food services.
Follows proper handling and right temperature of all food products.
Coordinates activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation.
Supervise and coordinate all food preparation and presentation.
Checks the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
Assists in determining how food should be presented and creates decorative food displays.
Monitor stocks for food ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make appropriate orders within budget.
Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking.
Provide skills training to subordinate workers.
Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety standards.
