Full-Time Chef/Cook
Job Description
Experienced Chef and cook required in all aspects of Indian cookery in Curries and Tandoor and continental cuisine. Manage all aspects of kitchen from food preparation, menu setting, kitchen deliveries, food storage and meeting national health requirements and assisting chef in everyday Mise en place and preperations.
To be considered for this role you must have:
· Trade certificates in Cookery or Relevant Diploma/Degree in Hospitality
· Minimum 3 years plus experience in Indian food preferably in a multi-cuisine restaurant
· Be able to maintain a clean kitchen and use kitchen appliances and equipment safely
· May need to work varied shifts as also on weekends
Deep knowledge of different spice and their blends for mirande and curries.
Knowledge of temperature requirements of different foods for cooking and storage both.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $56,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year
