Job Description

Our clients at The coast and Bar Restaurant in Gosford are looking for a full-time cook. You must have a genuine care for delivering the best possible presentation and taste to the meals and the ability to work in a team.

Key responsibilities include:
• Stock rotation
• Maintaining and promoting clean and hygienic work practices
• Ensure all Kitchen and servery areas comply with hygienic standards to prevent contamination of any kind
• Oversee maintenance and cleaning of all machinery, equipment and utensils
• Working in a team environment, ensuring timely service and a high standard of presentation of our hotel product
• Food preparation
• Assisting the Executive Chef with Kitchen recruitment and selection.

The successful applicant must have:
• Confident working in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Well-developed ability to work independently and as part of a strong, diverse and dynamic team
• Ability to learn new skills
• Proven experience in a fast paced and quality driven working environment
