Job Description

Our client, Community Transport Central Coast Limited, is a leading and well established organisation on the NSW Central Coast, providing transport to those members of our community who need support to access services and shopping, this includes those with a disability and the frail aged and their carers. The role is permanent full time for 38 hours per week, based at North Wyong. The hourly rate of pay will be in accordance with the current MEA award.

We are seeking a person who will be able to undertake administrative tasks and be an integral part of our bookings team. There may also be a need to on occasion provide transport to our clients in our services cars; this will require the successful applicant to hold a full drivers licence and a Driver Authority or have the ability to gain one. Please take note of the essential criteria included in this advertisement as they are not negotiable. You will also have a high level of computer literacy and be prepared to undertake training to enhance your role with us.

You will be committed to excellence in customer service, ensuring all clients have a positive experience when engaging with us in any way. Our goal is to be recognised as the transport provider of choice across the central coast with a known excellence in customer service.

The successful applicant will possess a passion for the rights of people with a disability and the frail aged and disadvantaged and demonstrate this through their interactions with our clients.

  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills,
  • A commitment to excellence in customer service
  • A high standard in dealing with customer enquiries over the phone
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Well-developed time managements skills
  • Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Word/Outlook and the ability to learn custom computer applications used by our business.
  • A Cert 111 or higher in Aged Care or a minimum of 3 years’ experience would be highly regarded.

Essential requirements are:

  • An unrestricted drivers licence.
  • The ability to pass a working with children and criminal history check
  • Willingness to provide a copy of your driving history if invited to interview.
