Job Description

Capstone require a “Facilities Manager” in Gosford NSW:

Our client is a significant NSW Government Department who have an in-house Facilities Management team, responsible for a number of corporate offices including their Central Coast facilities. They are currently offering an immediate start for a Facilities Coordinator to assist the business and FM team based in Gosford.

As an interim Facilities Manager you will be tasked with:

  • Coordinating Hard & Soft Services inc maintenance breakdowns for tenancies
  • Coordinate and prepare P/O’s & associated invoices and accounts payable
  • Provide general duties and assistance to staff in a corporate environment

This is a corporate facilities manager role which encompasses asset management, workspace duties, liaising with department staff, creating work orders, engaging and managing contractors and generally supporting the Facilities manager in ensuring the work environments are safe and effective places for work.

To be considered you will have a related trade background, demonstrated experience in providing technical advice relating to maintenance of and the purchasing and repair of building fabric, building services and office equipment. You will be an effective communicator and easily adaptable, conversant with IT work order systems, spreadsheets and CMMS platforms, with availability to work through to January 2019.

In return you will be gaining experience in the NSW Government for approximately 5 months and receive up to $47.50 + Super per hour for a 40 hour week which will allows you to enjoy the burgeoning hours of daylight saving.
