Full-Time Fleet Manager – Gosford

Job Description

Our clients in Central Coast is looking for a fleet manager someone who will be in charge of Handling and re-enforcing existing relationships to ensure continued growth in volume and profitability of their business across their portfolio. Working towards targets and performance expectations across settlements, margins, product mix, retention and profitability. Our client is having multiple lines in their business which involved dealership of one of the biggest brands such as Mercedes and Nissans along with second hand car dealership at Gosford.

As you would expect in such an important role, you will have a wide range of responsibilities. These include (but are not limited to):

  • Manage/support day-to-day fleet administration as required, including – vehicle ordering and ongoing, cleaning/detailing, roadside Assistance, fuel cards, tolls/tags, registration, invoice/fines management.
  • Ensure timely service maintenance and repair of vehicles.
  • Complete operational and consolidated reporting for key stakeholders on an agreed basis.
  • Manage day-to-day requirements in collaboration with the nominated Fleet Management Company (FMC).
  • Assist with development and management of Corporate Fleet Policy.
  • Define, develop, enhance and implement Fleet procedures and best practices in a structured way.
  • Proactively engage and communicate with key Fleet stakeholders.
  • Ensure optimisation of Fleet size across the Group in consideration of Corporate Policy.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Experience in a multi-site truck fleet management role is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience with off-road heavy equipment is preferred but not essential
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and commitment to working in a One-Team environment
  • Computer literate with experience using MS Office and fleet management systems.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, teambuilding and verbal communication skills.
