City of Lake Macquarie require a “Human Resources Business Partner – Organisational Reconfiguration” in Lake Macquarie NSW:

As part of an exciting new team, Council is looking for a 12 month term contract Human Resources (People Support) Business Partner to deliver effective people services for the organisational reconfiguration.

About the role

The Business Partner is responsible for providing specialist operational and strategic advice and support in relation to employee and industrial relations matters.

This 12 month term contract position will be part of a dedicated project team for the Organisational Structure review that is occurring in two stages. This position will provide human resources support in all aspects of the structural change. This position requires a mix of organisational design, industrial relations, and human resources generalist experience.

About you

To succeed in the role, ideally you will bring:

  • Degree qualifications in a related field OR contemporary equivalent qualifications and experience.
  • Strong experience in HRM, with the ability to effectively and strategically align people initiatives and programs with operational needs.
  • Previous experience in influencing change and facilitating organisational or major restructures.
  • A sense of fun to tackling competing priorities, with the ability to roll up your sleeves and apply your passion for continuous improvement.

Salary: $85,795 to $92,365 plus 12% superannuation a year
