VC Management require a “Internal Accountant” in East Gosford NSW:

Experienced Internal Accountant

Excellent opportunity for an experienced internal accountant to join a busy medium-sized company on the Central Coast. We are seeking a professional, reliable and personable accountant to join our friendly and dynamic team. This role is a permanent position, Monday to Friday.

Our company specialises in:

  • Property construction, development and management; and
  • Dental surgery management

You would be working in a small office team alongside the HR/Property Manager and EA/Marketing Manager, all reporting to the CEO. This position requires you to be flexible, and willing to assist in all areas of office administration as necessary. You will need to have excellent inter-personal and communication skills, and be able to work both independently and within a team environment.

The position will be available for an immediate start to the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • MYOB data entry including accounts receivable and payable
  • Prepare financial statements for CEO, statutory bodies and external accountants
  • Manage GST compliance
  • Bank, Loan, Inter-Company, Payroll and Super reconciliations
  • EOFY financial preparation
  • Daily, weekly and monthly reporting (for example daily cash flows, quarterly BAS and monthly IAS)
  • Outgoings audit for rental properties
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, external accountants, ATO and other relevant bodies
  • General administration duties and other ad hoc duties as required

Minimum Required Experience

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Accounting degree or diploma
  • Minimum 3 years’ accounting and/or senior bookkeeping experience
  • High degree of skills and accuracy in financial reporting
  • Expert knowledge of relevant accounting and taxation legislation and standards
  • Excellent working knowledge of MYOB software
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
