Korean BBQ and fine dining restaurant in Gosford

We are looking for a full time chef with substantial experience of Korean cuisines.

Basic Requirement
– Must speak good Korean;
– Experience in Korean fine dining for minimum 3 years;
– Supervise and organize our full commercial kitchen operation;
– Able to work under pressure;
– Able to work as a team;
– Must be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident visa holder.

Daily Duties
– Manages all day-to-day operations of the kitchen.
– Develop, design, or create new ideas and items for seasonal/daily special menu.
– Ensure excellent quality throughout the food services.
– Follows proper handling and right temperature of all food products.
– Coordinates activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation.
– Supervise and coordinate all food preparation and presentation.
– Checks the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
– Assists in determining how food should be presented and creates decorative food displays.
– Monitor stocks for food ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make appropriate orders within budget.
– Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking.
– Provide skills training to subordinate workers.
– Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety standards.
