Job Description

Learning & Development Manager, Davistown – $80,000 – $90,000 per annum

An exciting new opportunity has opened at AVPartners’ Central Coast based Head Office.
Reporting to the Managing Partner, the Training Specialist position is mainly responsible for ensuring that the business training needs are met in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying key competencies throughout each department of the business
  • Determine training needs to help employees develop the right skills and knowledge for the job
  • Develop training programs to improve performance of the company as a whole
  • Work closely with all functions and divisions to ensure adherence to Quality Standards and Regulations.
  • Lobby the importance of continued improvement of the training process and systems throughout the organisation
  • Assist in the preparation of the Training function for Regulatory and Corporate Audits.
  • Ensure that all training is carried out in accordance with ISO9001 quality system requirements
  • Maintain the functionality of the electronic learning systems and ensure the accuracy of training records in adherence with ISO9001 quality system requirements
  • Input training records in the learning management system ensuring highest precision of data input
  • Support the continuous improvements of the electronic learning systems to meet the changing needs of the business

About Success

To be considered for this role you will need a minimum of 5 years’ L&D experience ideally working in a multi-site environment. You must be available to travel interstate to facilitate training. You will have demonstrated capability in rolling out L&D projects from inception to delivery, establishing and maintaining effective relationships with both internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Key Requirements:

  • Ability to translate business performance objectives into appropriate training solutions
  • Proven experience leading the design, development, delivery and evaluation of training programs and materials.
  • Experience in on-line learning, content development for online delivery and LMS management
  • Commercially astute with strong conceptual skills
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and facilitation skills and previous experience delivering training.
  • Relevant qualifications in Learning and Development or other related discipline and/or extensive years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in hospitality and/or a B2B services industry preferred
  • RTO experience or a working knowledge of the AQTF
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) essential
  • Highly organised with a focus on attention to detail
  • Must be proficient in English oral and written communication skills
