Ashdown Consulting require a “Marketing & Communications Advisor” in Gosford NSW:

Ashdown People are currently searching for an experienced Marketing and Cpmmunications Advisor to work for a large State Government Organisation based in Gosford. This position is full time contract role till the end of the year with the high potential of being extended.

The successful candidate is required to utilise their marketing expertise to help make a difference to workers’ health across the NSW community. Get Healthy at Work is a NSW Government initiative that aims to improve the health of working adults by providing businesses with free support to address workplace-related risk factors for chronic disease and help staff achieve their personal health goals. We are looking for a Marketing & Communications Advisor to help increase business registrations in the program through developing and implementing campaigns in response to strategic priorities, leveraging channel marketing opportunities and providing support across a wide range of promotional activities.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain an understanding of business priorities and challenges and translate them into measurable marketing objectives and strategies.
Support the development and implementation of organisation-wide marketing activity including branding, policies and contracts.
Contribute to the management of major events and sponsorships with a focus on increasing return on investment and producing measureable results.
Contribute to the development and implementation of insight-driven marketing activities that engage target audiences.
Work with external suppliers, partners and colleagues to get maximum value out of limited communications resources.
Collect and interpret analytics to inform the development and evaluation of marketing activity.
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with a range of internal and external contacts, and actively seek their input into the development of marketing strategies and products. To be successful in this role, you will:

Possess a proven track record developing and delivering large-scale marketing, communication and promotional campaigns, ideally within the public sector, business-to-business (B2B) or social space
Have sound experience developing content and utilising digital marketing technology
Thrive in an environment where you can use your initiative and outstanding time management skills to deliver high quality work that meet targets
