Our business has operated in Central Coast for over 10 years. Our business is now expanding our customer reach by marketing our products online across Australia and Globally.

We are currently looking for an experienced marketing specialist who can perform an array of marketing and communications activities, with particular focus on digital/online marketing.

About the position
The marketing communications officer will be responsible for managing the marketing of our products on our website, create marketing strategies to increase in store and online sales, create content for the website like blogs etc, manage social media and email marketing. Along with this, certain instore marketing endeavours like making videos, structuring live webinars etc.

Key responsibilities: Marketing & Communications

  • Leads, develops and implements marketing initiatives and programs – online and in store. Particular focus on creating online sales on Amazon Australia, Ebay and our retail website.
  • Deliver a multi-channel Marketing and Communications plan that drives branding, marketing communications, product marketing, demand generation, channel marketing, and sales/marketing enablement.
  • Strengthen and build Online channels for driving traffic and converting sales, build relevant and engaging content for digital distribution, and increase social presence.
  • Build brand awareness of our business and products through content and increase engagement across FB, Twitter, YouTube and Google.
  • Be a subject matter expert on Google Analytics with a focus on campaign tracking and site traffic/user behaviour, and make strategic campaign decisions/changes to campaigns.
  • Undertake market Research and advise on new markets to promote our products.
  • Provide insights on all elements of marketing mix including product, pricing, advertising and sales promotion.

Competencies:

  • Must have excellent communication, presentation and writing skills and be comfortable communicating to customers, retail staff and external vendors.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Graphic experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated success with customer campaigns and market shaping activities
  • Able to exercise discretion and keep strictest levels of confidentiality;

Preferred Experience:

  • Two years minimum experience in marketing/communication role.
  • Experience developing online sales channel for Australian business.
  • Preferred experience working in life sciences, diagnostics, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or med device/technology company.

Education

A Bachelor degree related to Marketing

Expected Salary:

$45,000-$57,000 Base salary
