Part-Time Mental Health Clinician – Mental Health Telephone Access Line
Central Coast Local Health District require a “Mental Health Clinician – Mental Health Telephone Access Line” in Gosford NSW:
Telephone Access Line will be required to conduct mental health triage assessment over the phone and refer individuals to appropriate services either within Central Coast Mental Health or to another appropriate service provider.
Clinicians will be required to document calls appropriately and maintain a high standard of customer service, including a timely response to incoming calls. Clinicians will be required to participate in quality management and customer satisfaction processes as well as participating in training, development and regular performance reviews

Demonstrated evidence of at least 3 years experience working in acute mental health settings conducting initial mental health assessments.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively engage clients/consumers over the telephone.
Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrated high level of negotiation, de-escalation and conflict resolution skills.
Qualifications in Nursing (Registered Nurse) Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology and current registration with relevant Professional Agency
Advanced computer skills including excellent typing, literacy and word processing skills. Experience with eMR Electronic Medical Records systems.
