Job Description

Belkin require a “National Account Manager” in Tuggerah NSW:

General Role Responsibilities:

This role will be responsible for driving and growing the Linksys business through the ANZ market.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Increase sales by servicing existing accounts while developing new opportunities.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of industry products and services.
  • Create proposals, negotiate agreements and establish pricing for customers.
  • Leverage distributions sales teams as an extension of the Linksys team.
  • Interface with Marketing, Product Management and Accounting departments regarding product needs, lead times and credit issues.
  • Assist the Country Manager with information specifically on market conditions pertaining to your portfolio and region to assist with the creation of proposals, pricing and marketing program implementation.
  • Prepare quarterly Strategic Plans in line with achieving company agreed objectives.
  • Have a keen appreciation of the ROI from all activities and manage your assigned P & L in this manner.
  • Be Accountable for Forecasting and Outlook at a SKU level for your specific region.
  • Ensure that product knowledge and awareness of Company activities is at a high level and that all channel partners and customers within assigned region are adequately educated through an established and managed training mechanism.
  • Source new business opportunities within the channel domain and manage the operation of the portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with current and/or other representatives that share a synergy with the Company’s activities in the market.
  • Manage day-to-day business by ensuring that all outstanding issues are managed and delivered end to end.
  • Complete all assigned reporting requirements as set by the Country Manager.


  • Experience in working with other vendors and major account segments across a multi-channel platform.
  • Appropriate knowledge of IT systems and applications to accomplish work-related tasks e.g.: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word.
  • Financial Management – considers the financial implications when making decisions.
  • Ability to convey ideas clearly in written form and to proofread documents before sending.
  • Ability to pro-actively develop customer relationships by making efforts to listen and understand customer and anticipating/providing solutions.
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask with sound decision making capability.
  • Demonstrate ability and willingness to meet company and personal goals, use effective selling techniques, supervise and motivate others, maintain an excellent attendance record and utilise excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Conduct one’s self at all times in a professional and courteous manner that preserves the reputation of the Company.
  • Communicate ideas, challenges and problems as they arise.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or required.
