Full-Time Paraplanner / Financial Planning Support – Gosford

Job Description

Robson Partners are a progressive team of 20, established over 30 years, providing Financial Planning, Business Coaching & Development, in addition to Accounting and Taxation Services to a wide range of clients.  We are looking for an experienced, mature, self-motivated individual to join our Financial Services Team.

Your Purpose:

  • To be the primary preparation and support resource for our Financial Services Team, whilst building and maintaining client relationships.

You will have:

  • Experience working within a professional services environment (preferable)
  • At least 2 years Paraplanner experience, with related financial education qualifications
  • Experience with Financial Planning Software, Xplan preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work on multiple projects, while consistently completing jobs on time
  • High standard of written and communication skills
  • Problem solving skills and be able take initiative to manage clients’, third parties and staff to complete the job
  • Ability to maintain a high focus on compliance
  • Motivation to keep up-to-date with technical knowledge and legislation changes

The Role

  • To work in a team of professionals who are passionate about providing quality advice and service to our clients
  • Liaise with clients regarding financial services, accounting information and co-ordinate client requests to completion
  • Prepare Statement of Advice/Record of Advice and strategy documents in-line with Advisor and Clients’ objectives
  • Preparation of application forms and liaison with third party providers for form processing and queries
  • Point of contact for financial clients and attend to enquiries appropriately
  • Manage and schedule regular client investment reviews
  • Confirming and placement of funds in-line with advice documents, Advisor and Clients’ instructions
  • Preparation of loan applications, including research, application, approval and settlement
  • Manage audit preparation in-line with compliance standards and regulations
  • Work with the team to continually achieve productivity targets and enhance processes
  • Provide administrative support to Financial Services and Accounting teams
