This full-time position forms part of a dedicated professional team focusing on maximising the value in use provided by our industry leading products and solutions to our customers’ operations. This initiative is based on the Japanese concept, GEMBA.

This position is based at the our Tuggerah office and requires regular travel to mine sites within the Australasian region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of “value in use” to our customers by visiting site and reviewing how the system is being operated.
  • Identify improvement opportunities such as training, assisted operations and advise on system usage and navigation.
  • Assist in the preparation of data analysis pre and post site visits to benchmark, identify issues and potential improvements.
  • Prepare and coordinate reports for our customers.
  • Ensure all activities are completed in a safe manner.

Essential Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering or mining or a similar related field.
  • Highly analytical, ability to swiftly identify opportunities and solutions.
  • Experience in mining and/or knowledge of the related terms, processes, technology applications and solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner.
  • High level of computer literacy with Microsoft® Office competency.
  • Willing to travel to mine sites throughout Australia on a regular basis

Desirable Requirements:

  • Process improvement training/qualifications such as Six-Sigma.
  • Experience with Modular or related Fleet Management or Machine Guidance products.

The successful applicant will be required to gain in-depth skills and knowledge of Modular Mining System’s products and in-house programming language.
