Job Description

Reds Global require a “Projects Manager” in Somersby NSW:

Reds Global is an industry leader in the supply of Tower Cranes and Personnel to the Construction Industry. Servicing major projects around Australia, including NSW, QLD and the ACT. Reds Global is an organisation committed and destined for continual growth.

We are seeking a Projects Manager to work in a small close knit team environment. This is a fast paced and highly collaborative role. Your ability to plan, manage and effectively communicate will be crucial to success in this position.

Being the main point of contact for all Reds Global projects, you will work closely with all stakeholders.

You will be responsible for the planning, execution and reporting of all Reds Global tower crane installations, climbs and dismantles.

You will have exceptional leadership skills, lead from the front and make tough calls daily. Also, you will be entrusted with the safety of the teams completing critical works.

You will understand and have experience with the challenges faced by a sub-contracted company working for principal contractors. This position includes liaison with major stakeholders.

This is a roving position between our numerous sites located in and around Sydney and our head office, located at Somersby on the Central Coast of NSW.

The standard week will be Monday to Friday, 10 hours per day, though you will thoroughly understand that due to the nature of our industry, weekend work will be required to facilitate crane installs, climbs and dismantles.

As the majority of our sites are in Sydney, regular travel and work between Somersby and Sydney is required.

Your skills and experience will consist of:

  • Minimum Diploma in Project Management
  • 7+ years’ experience working in the crane industry
  • Previous project management experience
  • Sound WHS understanding and experience putting into practice
  • Accreditation in Dogging, Rigging or Tower Crane operation (Strongly favourable)
  • Excellent industry contact knowledge
  • Actively seek, identify and pass on further business opportunities
  • Experience working at heights
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office applications
  • Clean Heavy Rigid NSW drivers’ license
