Job Description

Bensville Pharmacy is located on the central coast one hour from Sydney. The business predominantly serves the local community with their medication needs. Services include Webster packing, free local home delivery, injection of vaccinations, medication reviews. The pharmacy has experienced exceptional growth in the past two years due to strong demand of pharmaceutical and general household demands from China. We are looking for an experienced Public Relations Professional to improve and maintain our company popularity and eventually increase our sales.

Roles and responsibilities:

Brand & Design

  • plan and organize publicity campaigns
  • Maintain branding to company standards

Digital Marketing

  • Design, execute and report on marketing campaigns that generate quality leads for the Sales team
  • preparing and controlling the issue of news and press releases on digital media platform
  • Assist in the management of social media marketing
  • Respond to inbound social media communications
  • Assist the administration of content and page design on the company website
  • Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising data from Google Analytics, social media and offline activities

Public Relations / Communications

  • Produce press releases, news articles, blog posts and other communications materials
  • Assist in the production and distribution of content marketing advertising
  • Proactively liaise and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • organising special events, seminars, entertainment, competitions and social functions to promote goodwill and favourable publicity
  • attending business, social and other functions to promote the organisation

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the following:

  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese
  • Passion for storytelling and comprehensive understanding of content marketing
  • Independent and strategic thinking with a track record of excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
  • A self-driven and ambitious nature with superior planning and organisation skills

Typical qualifications and experience:

  • Degree in Marketing, Public Relations or a related field
  • 1-year experience with Adobe Creative Suite including: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere
  • Highly Proficient in MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience social media marketing
