Full-Time Qualified Pastry Chef – Wamberal

Job Description

We are looking for a Qualified Pastry Chef for our restaurant that is famous for our Mediterranean and Middle Eastern menu. You would be working with our renowned Chef who began his career in the South of France.

To apply for these positions you must have a qualification and experience in a similar role for at least three years and be available to start immediately. Wages 50K – 60K.

You must be able to;

  • check the cleanliness of equipment and operation of premises before production runs to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
  • check the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients
  • knead, mature, cut, mould, mix and shape dough and pastry goods
  • prepare pastry fillings
  • monitor oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times
  • coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread rolls and pastry products
  • glaze buns and pastries, and decorating cakes with cream and icing
  • operate machines which roll and mould dough and cut biscuits
  • empty, clean and grease baking trays, tins and other cooking equipment
