The successful applicant for this position will be required to work a 24/7 rotating roster which predominantly consists of evening and night shifts.

What you’ll be doing
The Registered Nurse in the Psychiatric Emergency Care Centre (PECC RN) will coordinate and provide high quality nursing care, specialising in assessment, planning and implementation of strategies to manage patients with mental health, drug, alcohol and psychosocial issues who exhibit high risk behaviours and/or complex needs and/or comorbidities.
The PECC RN in an integral part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team environment that aims to improve the consumer journey.
In addition the PECC RN will be required to assist in covering the Mental Health Telephone Access Line overnight, providing telephone triage and referral service for all new and emergency mental health consumers residing in the Mid-north Coast and Central Coast area.
The PECC RN is required to work a seven day rotating roster including mornings, evenings and nights. Rostered shifts are predominantly evening and night duties.
