RESTAURANT MANAGER REQUIRED FOR REPUTED FINE-DINING INDIAN RESTAURANT IN WARNERS BAY IN THE STATE OF NEW SOUTH WALES

A fulltime position for one Restaurant Manager available for immediate start for our Indian Restaurant, The Grand Pavilion Indian Restaurant situated in Warners Bay, NSW for 38 hours a week. The candidate should hold a minimum Diploma in Hospitality or comparable qualification. The candidate should have at least 2 years full time post qualification work experience as a Restaurant Manager in a reputed fine-dining Indian Restaurant. The candidate should be diligent, independent, self-motivated Restaurant Manager. The candidate must be hard working, organized, creative and passionate about working in an Indian restaurant. He or she will be required to work in a high pressure/high turnover environment etc.

The duties and responsibilities for the position of Restaurant Manager
• Estimate food consumption, place orders with suppliers, and schedule delivery of fresh food and beverages.
• Resolve customer complaints about food quality or service
• Direct cleaning of kitchen and dining areas to maintain sanitation standards, and keep appropriate records
• Monitor actions of staff and customers to ensure that health and safety standards and liquor regulations are obeyed.
• Maintain budget and employee records, prepare payroll, and pay bills, or monitor book keeping records.
• Check quality of deliveries of fresh food and baked goods
• Meet with sales representatives to order supplies such as tableware, cooking utensils, and cleaning items
• Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment and other services
• Total receipts and balance against sales, deposit receipts and lock facility at end of day
• Select or create successful menu items based on many considerations, and assign prices based on cost analysis
• Recruit, hire, and oversee training for staff
• Schedule work hours for servers and kitchen staff
• Monitor food preparation and methods

Base Annual Salary $65,000.00 plus superannuation
