Recognised as the Central Coast’s leading law firm, Aubrey Brown Lawyers is expanding our Commercial Litigation Team and requires an 8+ year POE solicitor. With over 45 employees and well established on the Central Coast, Aubrey Brown Lawyers provides ongoing training and development to all staff.
The Opportunity
You will be responsible for a busy and varied work load in both commercial and civil litigation including work pertaining to client matters including the following areas;-
contractual disputes;
building disputes;
property disputes;
negligence claims;
consumer disputes;
landlord and tenant disputes;
neighbourhood disputes; and
contested estates.
You will have highly developed advocacy skills, and experience in mediation and settlement meetings. Working as part of the team and reporting to the Litigation Team Leader, this is great opportunity to share your skills whilst joining a firm who values its staff and operates out of modern offices in Tuggerah Business Park and Erina.
About You
To be successful your skills will be superior in the above areas, with sound ethics and highly developed advocacy skills. You will have experience in mediation and settlement meetings. You will have initiative and be a self –starter and a high level of computer proficiency.
Naturally you will have well developed oral and written communication skills, be adept at prioritising work and demonstrate tenacious follow-up on outstanding tasks. You value being part of a team.
