About the business and the roles
We are well established wholesales with business located in Central Coast, NSW and are now seeking warehouse & logistics manager, retail buyer and wholesaler to join our dynamic team and offer optimal service to our customers.

Warehouse & Logistics Manager (full time)

You are required to have excellent people management and a sound understanding of warehouse management systems and the running of distributions centers including transport and vehicle management.
The business is in significant growth and requires the right people to go to the next level, as such the salary is negotiable to the selected candidate.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Main responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Management / Supervision of the Warehouse Team
  • Process development and Improvement
  • Weekly / Monthly KPIs
  • Stock and Inventory Control
  • Transport Route planning as required
  • Vehicle Optimisation
  • Fleet / Forklift Management
  • Manage DIFOT to customers

Skills and experience

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes and experience:

  • Experience in Warehouse Management and associated software
  • Excellent understanding of Warehouse operations and procedures
  • MS Office including Word and Excel.
  • A history of direct supervision in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Transport run sequencing and Vehicle optimisation
  • Good knowledge of Safety and OH&S and Housekeeping requirements
  • Work under pressure and autonomously in a challenging fast paced warehouse environment

Merchandise Planner( full time)

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Merchandise Planner to join the team. Reporting to the Wholesale Manager, you will support the team to maximise revenue, margin and performance.

The Merchandise Planner is accountable for reporting & analysis, the management of deleted and promotional stock, and assisting/supporting the buyers in seasonal planning, budgeting and category management.

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Forecasting sales, stock levels, mark downs, sell through and margin
  • Analysing product performance, reporting of sales and inventory levels
  • Analysing post season sales data and making recommendations for future strategies
  • Achieving critical financial targets such as sales, stock turn and gross margin
  • Weekly replenishment orders
  • Managing markdowns
  • Assortment planning
  • Promotional planning and negotiations
  • Supplier Relationship Management

Skills and Experience

  • A tertiary degree or diploma in finance, economics, commerce, business, management or a related discipline is strongly preferred
  • Previous merchandise planning experience or have worked within a similar role
  • Driver’s License
  • Knowledge of Fresh Produce
  • Accountability in seasonal planning, budgeting and category management
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint
  • Strong communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Is able to build relationships with suppliers

Wholesale Manager(full time)

You are required to possess a strong work ethic and exceptional interpersonal skills and in return be given the opportunity to strengthen your career.
As a Wholesale Manager will be responsible for detecting the best possible distribution partners regarding the wholesale channel and negotiating the best economic and image terms. Other key duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage business relationships with partners
  • Identifying local business opportunities
  • Developing and implementing business plans, and marketing, pricing and credit policies and procedures
  • Researching and implementing regulatory and statutory requirements affecting wholesaling and distribution of goods
  • Analyse current clients/partners and suggest eventual new business and/or closing opportunities
  • Liaising with the warehouse team for distribution and shipping of goods
  • Monitoring business performance and preparing estimates and reports
  • Overseeing the display and sale of merchandise in association with the merchandise planner
  • Management of associated price lists.
  • Administration and coordination of budgets, forecasts and reporting.
  • Documentation and presentation of feedback.
  • Management and analysis of pricing and margins.
  • Coordination of logistics according to scheduled intakes.
  • Sales analysis and tracking sell thru reports.
  • Maintain service levels of fulfilment, delivery timing and invoicing accuracy in accordance with company and customer requirements.
  • Stock returns and associated reverse logistics.

Skills Required

  • Retail sales experience.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Customer relationship management.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills.
