Job Description

Harvey Recruitment require a “Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper – MYOB” in Muswellbrook NSW:

We are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper for a community based aged care facility that is in the process of expanding their current services and facilities.

The business is now looking for a highly dedicated and motivated person to assist in the management of the office administration function. To ensure effective and timely preparation and lodgment of reports, financial data and submissions to internal and external stakeholders

This role is envisaged to be approximately 25 – 30 hours per week.

Some of your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • General bookkeeping / Data Entry
  • Bank Account management
  • Payroll
  • A/P data entry and reconciliation
  • Processing of invoices and debtor chasing
  • Administrative duties
  • General ledger and journal entries as required
  • Assist Manager with month end preparation, statutory reporting queries and adhoc projects as required

The ideal person for this role will have:

  • Proficient MYOB – Account Right + Pivotal Add-on
  • Microsoft suite knowledge and experience
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Attention to details and a high level of accuracy
  • Proven experience in a similar role
