Monica Clare Recruitment require a “Accounts/Administration Professional” in Newcastle NSW:

Our client is a highly regarded, successful, and growing family owned construction company based in Newcastle. They have a stable and loyal team of employee’s who enjoy working for a approachable and supportive company Directors. The whole company are passionate about offering a high quality of work for their customers.

Due to continued success and growth, they are now looking to recruit an Accounts/Administration Professional on a full-time permanent basis.

This role will report directly into the Construction Manager. As the Accounts/Administration Professional, you will be the sole administration and accounts professional based on site. Your role is therefore an interesting and varied position. The day to day duties will include:

  • Administration support to the Construction & Project Managers
  • Provide reception support
  • Prepare and compile reports as needed
  • Accounts support including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and end of month processing
  • Create correspondence, reports, presentations and other documents as required
  • Diary management for Directors and Construction Manager
  • Prepare meeting agendas, attend and record actions
  • Budgeting and tracking budgets
  • Creating work orders
  • Ad-hoc support to the management team

To be considered for this role you will be a pro-active and driven individual who is mature and switched on. You will have previous accounts and administration experience working in a similar diverse role. Strong MS Office skills including intermediate to advanced excel is a necessity. This organisation is looking for a loyal and long-term employee. Experience working within in the construction industry or project management will be an advantage.
