Full-Time Bookkeeper / Administrator – Newcastle

Job Description

You will be working as part of a global team, with colleagues based in Australia, the US and Europe. As a rapidly moving, high-growth business, they are looking for a dedicated and experienced Bookkeeper / Administrator to join their progressive team.

Based in Newcastle CBD and reporting into the Managing Director your main duties will include, but are not limited to:
End of month reporting, processes and reconciliations
Chasing outstanding debtors and processing creditor payments
Manage daily banking
Accounts receivable and payable
Process payments, journal entries and manage petty cash
Fortnightly payroll for 20 employees
Assist in preparation of reports
BAS Statements
Support management with budgeting and forecasting
Adhoc administration duties
Key requirements:
Highly proficient with Excel and Xero
Diploma in Accounting and/or Certificate IV in Bookkeeping
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
3-5 years’ hands on bookkeeping/accounting experience
