NSW Family and Community Services is the largest Child Protection agency in NSW and we are looking for Casework Support Workers & Aboriginal Casework Support Workers to join their team!

 

About the role
As a Casework Support Worker you will help caseworkers in their day-to-day work supporting children, young people, families and communities in varied and challenging circumstances.
No two days will be the same. One day you will be helping caseworkers prepare documentation, or will help with case planning for children and young people and the next day you’ll be sourcing and sharing information about families and making referrals or appointments.
We want to improve outcomes for vulnerable children from diverse backgrounds including Aboriginal children and families, so we need more Aboriginal voices, knowledge and experience to do this.

A competitive base salary range $ $70,652– $77,363- plus superannuation and annual leave loading

How to apply
You can apply to be a Casework Support Worker at FACS if you:

 

have a valid drivers licence
have a TAFE Diploma in a relevant field , welfare / community services, OR relevant work experience deemed to be the equivalent experience
have a Working with Children clearance number prior to commencement in the role (to obtain further information on how to apply for a WWCC please click here)
