About the role/ About the Opportunity
The primary purpose of the role is to facilitate engagement with the sector to improve the local supply of services, while building collaborative relationships with providers and developing contract management relationships which directly contribute to better outcomes for individuals, families, and communities.
We are recruiting 1 ongoing role and 1 temporary role for up to 3 years, in accordance with the Government Sector Employment Act 2013. When applying applicants should clearly indicate their preference for either roles.
Both positions will operate across the Mid North Coast as a part of the Commissioning & Planning team. The ongoing role will largely be responsible for contract management and sector support to those agencies implementing existing services and reforms for permanency support, domestic and family violence, early intervention, specialist homelessness and other District led initiatives. It is preferred this role be based in Port Macquarie, however may be based in Coffs Harbour by negotiation.
The temporary role will primarily be responsible for contract management and support to those services successful in obtaining the tender to deliver the Opportunity Pathways Program. This program is a wrap-around support program to be to be implemented in the Mid North Coast District in 2019 with funding for a three year period to support those utilising social housing services to achieve economic and housing independence. The location of this role is flexible and can be negotiated for either Coffs Harbour or Port Macquarie.
A Recruitment Pool may be created to fill similar roles for both ongoing and temporary opportunities if and as they arise.
Essential/Preferred Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
Cleared Working with Children’s Check
National Criminal Records Check

Salary range $94,782.00 pa – $104,918.00 pa plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading (FACS Clerk/Grade: 7/8)
