This is an excellent opportunity for a Community Engagement Manager to be based in Newcastle and work on multiple high-profile projects. This role will be the lead in the development and implementation of the Community Engagement Strategy working closely with key stakeholders within Newcastle and Hunter Region.

Working as the conduit between the organisation and the community, this role will be vital in forming strategic communications to deliver better outcomes for our region. Resilience, collaboration and an ability to build relationships will be the key elements in delivering the engagement strategy successfully.

Specifically, your experience will demonstrate your ability to;
Develop and implement communication engagement, projects and resources for the successful delivery of organisational programs
Provide communication advice to internal stakeholders on effective engagement strategies
Be a subject matter expert on the strategic programs to assist with consistent communications and messaging
Evaluate and report on communications and engagement effectiveness
Be able to identify any potential issues in line with the organisation’s direction and values.
