About the role
The Coordinator, Family Contact is responsible for coordinating and overseeing and managing the Family Contact program to ensure smooth operation and compliance at all times

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate, lead and develop Family Contact, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Recruit, develop, manage and mentor direct reports
Coordination of supervised access visits within the centre and externally.
Liaising with key referring agencies and negotiation of service delivery.
Represent the organisation and build strong relationships with the managed services
Ensure communication with key stakeholders internally and externally
Invoicing and preparation of costings / quotes for the government
Preparation of contact visit reports and monthly reporting
Maintenance of files and database and completion of various administrative tasks
Skills & Experience
Tertiary qualifications in Human Services or equivalent relevant experience
Demonstrated experience in working with children and young people in out of home care
Awareness of the complex issues facing children and young people in out of home care
High level communication, influencing, liaison and negotiation skills
Supervisory experience of employees and / or contractors and analysis of their reports
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Current drivers licence
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
