Facilities Officer – NSW Government
Our Client requires a Facilities Officer to co-ordinate operations effectively within their department. The Facilities Officer performs a range of activities to support the Management Team to ensure the department’s premises are maintained and managed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Support the delivery of facility management related services including: maintenance, security, cleaning, fire systems, WH&S, building management systems, mail and reception.
Coordinate and prepare purchase orders for goods and services, goods receipting, accounts payable and supplier invoicing.
Coordinate and liaise with trades (external contractors) in relation to induction, preventative maintenance and service break downs.
Support the delivery of high quality building and administrative services to internal and external clients by carrying out duties professionally and in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
Support the Facility Manager in the responding to major and minor breakdowns which impact on services or condition in the building in an efficient and effective manner. Selection Criteria

Experience with facility or asset management in a supporting role.
Experience with the coordination of building repairs and maintenance with experience in working with and coordinating trades.
Familiarity with computer systems.
The ability to work in a team environment.
