Job Description

Whipper Recruitment require a “Finance Officer” in Newcastle NSW:

• Long Term Contract

• State Government Department

• Immediate Start

This role requires a self-managed Finance officer for coding and journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, reconciliations.

Primary purpose of the role is to provide financial and administrative support to ensure the effective operation of the business unit including:

• SAP transactional tasks to support project delivery

• Responding to incoming telephone and face to face enquiries, providing information and directing enquiries where required

• Undertaking administrative support duties such as filing and records management, mail receipt and sorting, maintenance of registers, photocopying, compilation of manuals and reports

• Undertaking SAP related tasks including data entry, raising and receipting of purchase orders and assisting with making payments

• Providing meeting support tasks including preparing agendas, organising venues and catering, and distributing minutes to contribute to the smooth running of meetings

• Maintaining the TRIM computerised records management system
