This opportunity in the role of HR Manager is your chance to shape the way Keolis Downer operates in the Hunter region, with multiple service streams in the area you will be directly responsible for implementing policies and processes for varied environments, managing industrial relations and provide strategic staffing and resourcing. You will challenge the status quo and redefine how HR interacts across the region, working with senior management in setting and meeting specific and achievable business outcomes as the business expands.

You will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource, or relevant business orientated degree
  • Hands on and proven experience in Industrial Relations, with exposure to leading EBA negotiations and managing unionised environments.
  • Advanced knowledge on workplace legislation and strong performance in application in an industrial setting.
  • A track record in successfully managing HR at all levels of a medium to large scale business, with success in engaging employees at all levels through clear and strategic initiatives.
  • A direct and no nonsense approach to HR, with excellent communication both written and verbal a partnership attitude and a “team player” style.
