About the role
Life Without Barriers has been selected by the NSW Government to operate a number of supported accommodation services for people with disability currently managed by the Department of Family and Community Services. To make the transfer of the services to Life Without Barriers as smooth as possible for the clients, staff and families involved, a number of positions are now available in this exciting project. These positions include a permanent full time ICT Service Desk Engineer based in our Newcastle Head Office.

Key Responsibilities

Provide operational support for all ICT equipment
Provide first level operational support for all ICT applications
Provide first level support in accordance with ICT incident, problem and change management processes and procedures
Maintain the availability, security, integrity, performance and enhancements of the ICT technology environment
Ensure assets are documented and managed within the appropriate systems
Ensure continuous improvement of ICT services, practices and processes in lie with industry advances to ensure that the business remains competitive with best in class ICT services. Skills & Experience

An understanding of Exchange, active directory and Citrix
Analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to create clear and accurate reporting
Proven communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
Customer service focus with an understanding of client expectations
Self-motivated and directed with a keen attention to detail
Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high pressure environment. Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
