Job Description An exciting opportunity exists to join an organisation which positively changes the lives of others every day. As they embark on organisational transformation, our client is seeking an experienced Internal Marketing and Communications Specialist to play a key role in delivering this.

In this role you will be responsible for all marketing and communications activities that relate to the representation of the brand within the organisation. This includes internal branding, newsletters, team and internal stakeholder communications, internal events, content development and story mining, digital communications and intranet. Everything internal is yours to own!

Day-to-day, the role is responsible for:

  • Preparing, executing and reviewing internal marketing and communications campaigns and activities aligned to the marketing and communications strategy and organisational strategic plan
  • Managing the creation of plans and concepts for internal services based on insights that will support and build the brand across the business
  • Analysing and using data and insights to inform best practice application of learnings to enhance the marketing and communication offering
  • Leading the creative process associated with the development of marketing and communication campaigns, plans and activities from inception to execution and post-analysis
  • Liaising with relevant managers and team members to gather information to prepare and distribute fortnightly e-newsletters across the organisation
  • Creating engaging and SEO friendly content for intranet, newsletter and portal application as well as being the custodian of internal blogs, forums and online communities
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to promote the brand internally via digital and other platforms
  • Providing reports relating to the analysis of usage of digital communications
  • Planning and managing the Annual Report project.

This position requires the expertise of a tertiary-qualified marketing and communications professional from a comparable role, preferably from a corporate environment. You will enjoy working across a variety of different mediums and bringing an innovative approach to your work. The ability to absorb information, and translate it for understanding across the organisation is an essential skill. Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work collaboratively towards deadlines is also required.
