The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner/Scheduler with a mining maintenance background to join the Bengalla team on a Permanent, Fulltime basis.

 

In this role, you will be an extremely important part of the work management strategy within the maintenance structure, with a focus upon process mapping/work management initiatives for improving the planning/scheduling output.

 

Reporting to the Field maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for:

 

Scheduling all executable, planned tasks into a deliverable Gantt for the execution team to achieve
Aid planners in their focus on equipment tactics and relevant improvements
Select priority work and plan jobs including all resources and parts required to complete the work efficiently
Providing assistance in the development and improvement of the maintenance strategies
Complying with Bengalla’s Health, Safety & Environmental procedures at all times
What you’ll need

 

Trade background associated with the maintenance of heavy mobile equipment or field equipment in open cut mining
Detailed knowledge of CMMS
Ability to successfully produce maintenance plans incorporating safety and environmental elements.
Previous planning experience
Good analytical problem solving skills
Excellent Communication skills
Excellent communication skills;
Sound computer skills
Ability to work in a small friendly team with a collaborative approach
Focus on continuous improvement, working safely and meeting environmental standards;
