Job Description Our client is a leading national not-for-profit organisation providing support services to people with disability and children and young people in out of home care.

Due to continued growth, a new specialist marketing and communications position has been created to manage the organisation’s brand externally, within the community and public arena.

As Marketing and Brand Specialist you will be responsible for the development and execution of strategic external marketing and communications campaigns and plans, as well as the execution of programs for the organisation’s corporate partnerships and other key external relationships. This role will provide support to the General Manager Marketing and Communications and the Marketing team.

Key duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Preparing and implementing external marketing campaigns, aligned to the strategic plan
  • Creating and managing external communications plans that will support and build on the brand within the greater community
  • Developing and driving digital campaigns, managing SEO and SEM to maximise website traffic, and ensuring engaging and up-to-date content for the website, newsletter, portals, blogs, and forums
  • Identifying, developing and maintaining key external relationships, executing programs to maximise the benefits from corporate partnerships
  • Creating media releases, statements and managing other public relations matters
  • Planning and managing events that support the marketing and communications campaigns, plans and activities
  • Analysing data and insights to generate reports, and to refine and inform best practice for all key performance areas.

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • Significant experience in a similar role in a corporate environment
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing or Communications or equivalent field
  • Exceptional written communications skills
  • Demonstrated extensive experience developing and implementing marketing plans
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and social media platforms
  • An in-depth understanding and demonstrated application of data collection and analysis
  • An ability to build positive professional relationships, having highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Strong business acumen, with superior analytical and problem-solving skills
