Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to commence a Temporary Assignment in Maitland NSW.

This role offers an immediate start, for an approximate 4 month period with the possibility of extension thereafter.

You will be working to a fortnightly payroll for approximately 120 staff and be responsible for the timely and accurate management of the process including
Processing fortnightly payroll end to end
Processing of new starters, terminations, redundancies etc.
Calculation and payment of superannuation, PAYG, Payroll Tax etc.
Processing of journals and reconciliations
Interpretation of Awards and EA
Responding to Employee enquiries
