Central Coast Group Training is recruiting for a specialised tree contracting company operating across the Cessnock, Maitland, Singleton, Lake Macquarie and Newcastle regions. Our employer is a family business which has been in operation for over 40 years. Their work varies from tree removal, trimming, landscaping and maintenance. They have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and adaptable individual to join their close knit team.

The duties for this role include but are not limited to;

  • Payroll collation
  • Accounts payable and receivable
  • Customer service ranging from booking jobs, taking enquires and managing schedules
  • Support Quality, WHS and Environment Management functions in line with the company’s polices and procedures
  • Assisting management with HR functions; recruiting and induction processes
  • Assisting management with day to day operations such as liaising with suppliers and booking appointments on behalf of the directors 


To be considered for this role you must have and be able to demonstrate the following;

  • Experience in a office management preferably in a small business environment
  • Proven ability to prioritise, multi-task effectively and adapt to situations
  • Work autonomously and take initiative
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • An outgoing personality with the ability to negotiate schedules with staff and customers
  • Excellent computer knowledge; including Microsoft packages, Quick books and internet browsing


This role is casual/full time between 30 – 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday working a range of hours from 8:30am -4:00pm. 

We are looking for a motivated, adaptable individual that can work independently; whilst having a high attention to detail.
