Joining our Therapy Services team means you will be joining a highly skilled, diverse multidisciplinary team of clinicians. You will have access to opportunities for ongoing development and upskilling, and you will be joining a large and rapidly expanding not-for-profit organisation.

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to work within a multidisciplinary team of experienced Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Behaviours Support Practitioners, Vocational Counsellors, and Psychologists. You will use your knowledge and experience to provide assessment, therapy and equipment support to a variety of people while working across different environments, such as at their homes, day programs, schools and in the community. Using your expert knowledge and experience, you will work in conjunction with other Allied Health Professionals to deliver joint services for individuals and their families, to assist them achieve their goals.

Your role will be diverse and involve conducting clinical assessments and developing individually tailored therapy plans, executing appropriate physiotherapy treatment, for both adults and paediatrics. This role also has an exciting opportunity to develop and deliver training packages within our organisation and to outside agencies.

Essential Criteria:

  • Relevant tertiary education in Physiotherapy and current full registration with AHPRA.
  • Previous experience completing PT specific assessments and therapy supports, and AT request forms.
  • Proven experience working with those with complex support needs.
  • Commitment to people and providing quality services.
  • Knowledge of the Disability Service Standards.
  • Minimum P2 drivers licence and a vehicle that is comprehensively insured.
  • Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).

Desirable experience:

  • Working with billable targets.
  • A solid understanding of the NDIS framework.
  • Working with individuals with sensory processing needs.
  • Paediatric experience.
