Job Description

Hunter New England Local Health District require a “Plumber” in Belmont NSW:

To ensure that the hospitals statutory requirements are met and that clinical services are able to function with minimal interruption

Belmont Hospital is looking for a Plumber that is motivated, works effectively alone and as part of team, has good communication skills, and is responsible for the maintenance and installation of new plumbing / hydraulic services to the Belmont Campus in accordance with the relevant standards and codes.

Selection Criteria Licenced Plumber, Drainer, and Gas Fitter with extensive post trade experience in both the commercial and domestic environment Completion of additional studies and experience as a licenced Plumber with demonstrated completion of Backflow licence, Thermostatic Mixing Value licence, Gas licence, and LPG licence

Demonstrated ability to carry out servicing and maintenance of commercial style boiler and gas boiler units

Well-developed ability to effectively communicate with a broad range of customers

Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team to achieve service outcomes

Demonstrated ability to work independently and alone

Ability to use a variety of computer hardware, software and electronic systems to complete work activities

Current Driver’s Licence (NSW eligibility)
