Monica Clare Recruitment require a “Project Manager – Newcastle” in Newcastle NSW:

Our client is a national leading family owned and managed construction company delivering projects between $30 to $250 million across all sectors including aged care through to high end residential, commercial government funded projects in Health, Defence, Justice, Education and others.

Due to exceptional growth, they are currently looking for a talented and experienced Project Manager who is looking to progress their career with a stable, growing and leading construction company built on family values.

As Project Manager your key responsibilities will include:
Managing all facets of the project including budget, schedule, procurement, quality, safety & risk.
Dealing directly with clients to define project requirements then preparing scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, cash flow, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
Leading project delivery team, providing project guidance and direction to achieve project goals.
Tracking and Reporting progress of the project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines.
Manage and anticipate changes or variations to the contract.
Manage and ensure project milestones are met.
Ensure the project is completed to a high quality prior to handover.
Provides supervision, coach and mentor team members. The successful candidate will:

Have a Bachelor of Construction Management
Minimum of 10 years experience in the construction industry within Australia.
At least 5 experience as a Project Manager on projects over $10m.
Display high level problem solving and creative thinking skills.
Be a team player and enjoy promoting a positive working culture.
