Job Description Our client, a leading Physiotherapy & Sports Injuries practice in East Maitland, are seeking to recruit a skilled Receptionist/Administration Assistant to join their close-knit, collaborative team. The successful candidate will play an integral role in the seamless operation of the business and enjoy a fast-paced, challenging and varied working environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team who are passionate about supporting their patients in maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle and ensuring that quality treatment and a positive experience are at the forefront of all that they do.

The key responsibilities of the role include;

  • Answering and triaging incoming calls
  • Attending to patients in reception
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments
  • Processing payments and HICAPS claims
  • Reconciling patient accounts at the completion of the day
  • Changing over linen and equipment between appointments.

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following;

  • A confident telephone manner and strong customer service skills
  • A proven ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • High attention to detail and data entry accuracy
  • Full competence in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong cash handling skills
  • A positive attitude and bubbly personality
  • Commitment to working a varied roster of set shifts (early start/finish and late start/finish shifts rotate between the team) and occasional Saturdays

This position would suit someone wanting to forge a career in Reception & Office Support within the field of Health Services. Training will be provided however you will need to have proven Customer Service/Administrative experience.
